According to a report by World Bank; only about 26% of public primary schools in Nigeria have access to basic amenities such as electricity and clean water. UNESCO states that more than 17 million children in Nigeria are out of school. This means that many kids out there don’t get the opportunity to learn.

Our Commitment: We are committed towards making a difference. We organize events aimed at empowering out-of-school children with the opportunity to attend school and access fundamental education. Education is a fundamental right that should be accessible to all, regardless of their circumstances.

Upcoming Event – “Out-of-School Initiative”: In Nigeria, the Lydia Women Foundation Int’l is taking strategic steps to help address the pressing issue of out-of-school children. Our upcoming event, Out-of-School Initiative tagged “PUTTING STREET KIDS BACK TO THE CLASSROOM”, is our commitment to empowering through education. By organizing this event, we aim to help break down ‘walls of Jericho’ (barriers) that hinder education for children sponsored for scholarships.
